I wonder if I have a doppelganger
who
is wicked and the universe
confused
me with said doppelganger
because I’ve had a broken femur,
2
nasty respiratory illnesses,
and,
tonight, a broken hospital bed
that
resulted in a hurt back
because
it stuck in a painful position
for
more than 60 minutes
until
kind, on call, repairmen
arrived
to return me to horizontal.
